My name is Dr. Sonia Garcia, and I am the Director of Recruitment for the College of Geosciences. Coming up on Saturday, February 16, 2012, Texas A&M will host "Aggieland Saturday", a campus-wide event intended to bring high school students from across Texas and the U.S. to Aggieland. While here, students will learn about everything Texas A&M has to offer – from our great academics to the indescribable "Aggie Spirit".
The College of Geosciences isn't missing out on the fun! We have a full day of events planned to help you learn all about life as an Aggie in the College of Geosciences.
On this page you'll find a schedule of events, directions to the O&M building, and plenty of other information.
If you have any questions, feel free to call (979.845.3651) or
Where is the O&M Building?
The O&M Building is located next to the Administration Building on the east side of campus.
The O&M Building houses the Dean's Office, the Departments of Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography, and Geography, and the Environmental Programs Office. The Department of Geology and Geophysics is housed in another building close by, but all of the days activities will take place in the O&M Building.
Want a Idea of What You'll Learn?
Check out the College of Geosciences' Road to Discovery site, which is designed just for prospective students! On the Road to Discovery site, you'll learn about everything the College has to offer, and you'll be prepared with great questions when you attend Aggieland Saturday.
